Update : Dragon Ball Super Collected Manga Available Tomorrrow

As previously reported by Kanzenshuu tomorrow will see the debut of the first collected Dragon Ball Super manga containing the first 9 chapters of the monthly series.

Additionally, this volume will include a joint interview with Akira Toriyama and Toyataro where they discuss the future of the Dragon Ball story. Whether this will be subtle hints at what we can expect from the coming chapters and episodes of the Dragon Ball Super or spinoffs, one shot mangas or TV specials remains to be seen.

Nonetheless, with the end of the Universe 6 tournament drawing near it will be interesting to hear what is to come.

Dale Kelly Interview Tonight

As stated on Kanzenshuu recently, Dale Kelly, the voice of Captain Ginyu and the narrator of Funimation’s original Dragon Ball Z dub for the 1999-2001 Toonami broadcast will be receiving his first interview.


Tune in at 06:30pm CST (Central Canada, America and Mexico) or 01:30am CET (most of Europe).




Take new Dragon Ball movie reports with a grain of salt

Fans all over the net have been ecstatic over news of a new Dragon Ball movie to possibly complete a trilogy comprising of said film and Battle of Gods and Resurrection F.

However, as of now the news has not been reported by reliable sources.

If anyone wants to hear about an upcoming movie (if its coming) please check Kanzenshuu (best Dragon Ball online resource). There are many sites out there who will spread false information, take each of them with a grain of salt until something concrete from TOEI Animation has been published.

“Dragon Ball Super” Debut Episode Title Confirmed

Following the conclusion of Dragon Ball Z Kai in Japan, Kanzenshuu has already begun to plan the Episode List for the upcoming sequel Dragon Ball Super.

The series debut episode will be titled as follows:

Heiwa no Hōshū Ichioku Zenī wa Dare no Te ni!? (Malaysian)
Who Will the 100 Million Zenny Peace Reward Go To…?! (English)

This information seems to confirm the series will follow Toyataro’s manga adaptation to an extent. It is unsure what differences can be expected between the two.

Animation and directorial credits are also yet to be announced.

“Dragon Ball Super” 30-Second Teaser Released

The official Fuji TV website has released a new teaser for the upcoming Dragon Ball Super series.

The anime series, which debuts a week after the ending of Dragon Ball Kai reveals the following, as translated by Kanzenshuu:

Heya! I’m Goku! After 18 years, we’re striking out in a new series! A while after the battle with Majin Buu, some incredible guys have showed up in front of us: God of Destruction Beerus and Champa! Well, they’re gods at any rate, so I’m gonna fight with all my strength against Beerus and company, and get even stronger! The “Dragon Ball Super” broadcast starts next time! Don’t miss it!

Dragon Ball Super is the first all-new TV series for the franchise since the ending of Dragon Ball GT in 1997. The series will have an original story written by series creator Akira Toriyama, and will star Masako Nozawa, and it will be directed by Kimitoshi Chioka. The series will “…follow the aftermath of Goku’s fierce battle with Majin Buu, as he attempts to maintain earth’s fragile peace.” A manga adaptation by Toyataro will be released each month in V-Jump starting with the August 2015 issue.
