“Dragon Ball Z Kai” Marathon to air on Toonami

To celebrate US independence day next weekend Adult Swim’s Toonami block will air a 3-hour marathon of Dragon Ball Z Kai.

The episodes connecting the Saiyan and Frieza sagas of Kai, which will run July 4th for three hours starting at midnight, followed by Attack on Titan at 3:00am are as follows:

12:00AM “Power Up, Krillin! Frieza’s Mounting Apprehension!”

12:30AM “The Scheme Is Shattered! Vegeta Strikes Back at Zarbon!”

01:00AM “A Touch-and-Go Situation! Gohan, Protect the Four-Star Ball!”

01:30AM “The Countdown to Battle Begins! Enter, The Ginyu Force!”

02:00AM “First Up for the Ginyu Force! Guldo’s Time Freeze!”

02:30AM “The Nightmare Recoome! Come Out and Play, Vegeta!”

This will be good news for US Dragon Ball fans interested in enjoying classic story content from Kai before streaming the debut episode of Dragon Ball Super during its premiere date in Japan, which is several hours ahead of US time zones (CDT : 14 hours, MDT : 15 hours, MST : 16 hours, PDT : 16 hours, AKDT : 17 hours, HST : 19 hours).
